Usage Protocol

1. Dip the slide in BlueStain® solution for 2 minutes;

2. Wash under running water until the excess dye is removed from the slide;

3. Allow the blade to dry thoroughly;

4. Mount the slide (place mounting medium and coverslip).

Results

Expected Results:

  • Nucleus: purple
  • Nucleolus: dark blue
  • Cytoplasm: light blue
  • Metachromatic substances: dark blue
